This sounds horrible
Whoever used that digital noise reduction on this killed it. That swirling sound you hear makes it obvious how badly this was ruined. This is also NOT

What a night!
The doors opened at 7. The show was supposed to start at 7.30, but usually at the Rainbow that would mean around 9. With the house lights on, we wandered

down to the front to check the equipment. It was ten past seven and there were perhaps fifty people in the place, no seats, just empty floor. Imagine our amazement when the band came out and started playing - they were that keen, and we few felt like we were so special. The mix of Alabama was all over the place - perhaps they took the sound men by surprise too. Being English, we didn't call out during the music but listened hard and flew with them through a wonderful set, from deep quiet to spine-jarring noise. The drums close up was thrilling. It's great to hear it again and remember that night's mutual respect, which lives on at this archive.

This shn source sounds like it went to mp3 or something. There's a constant digital wind chimey noise in the background for the entire show. Listen to

like me, as nice as Brent's playing is here, you'll wonder what happened to the rhythm guitar. I'm not the Pope so I could be missing something here in the woods--listen for yourself.

no problems
Yeah, this is a great sounding show!I just burned it to cd. The lossless worked for me...Just a thought but which shn tool are you using? the one first

suggested by the Archive in FAQ was mKe something or other, and it sucked for me. I then tried the second one they suggest-"Foobar2000" and it's way better. Not one error or corrupt file or any other problems. It just grabs those shn and flac files and converts them to wav so they're ready to go on your cd. Try it?
